From 1943 Yitzhak lived in Budapest and earned a living as a carpenter. After the Germans invaded Hungary on 19.3.1944, he went underground with documents provided by the movement. He took part in underground activities until the beginning of August when he joined the tiyul and crossed the border into Romania.
He sailed from Constanţa on the “Bulbul” and, at the end of 1944, he arrived in Eretz Israel (Palestine). Yitzhak is a member of Kibbutz Ein Dor.
